Admission Process (Class- VI to XI)


Admissions are granted in SVM, Kamla Nagar, Agra to students based on their successful clearing of the admissions aptitude tests and parental interaction from class 6 upwards. Admission procedure is based on the guidelines of CBSE. Admission are open on availability of vacancies and based on defined categories.

All prospective parents are requested to follow these 5 simple steps

Step 1: Registration

Registration for admission into Class VI, usually opens in the month of February /March and for other classes in the month of April, May/June.
The parents are requested to visit the school Admission Office, register the name of your child for new admission. Purchase the school prospectus and fill out the admission form. Kindly carry one latest Passport size photo of the child and the parent along with self-attested Date of Birth certificate.
Mere registration does not guarantee admission.

Step 2: Submit Form

The parent needs to submit properly and cleanly filled admission form in school office and ensure copy all important documents are in order.
The following documents need to be submitted along with the Admission Form
• Copy of the Birth Certificate
• Copy of Report Card of previous year.

Step 3: Admission Aptitude Test


(For class VI-IX)
English, Science,Mathematics, Gen. Knowledge, Hindi
Syllabus will be as per the previous class books & paper will be of 100 marks.

(FOR class XI)
Commerce Group
English     Social Science
Humanities Group
English     Social Science
Science Group
Science     Mathematics
Syllabus will be as per the class X books& paper will be of 100 marks.

Step 4: See Merit List

Same day or a day after, merit list will display on school notice board. If the name of your child is present in this list, it means that you must move forward to next step

Step 5: Payment of School Fee

If the name of your ward is present in merit list then you will be required to make the school fee payment within 7 days of the declaration of the merit list to confirm admission. (see Fee Structure of different class)

  1. Students are admitted on First Come, First Served basis depending on vacancies
  2. We conduct no formal interviews with the child or the parent.
  3. The school reserves the right to admissions. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final

Parents will be intimated of the date and time to purchase school uniform & textbooks.
Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. The time table for your ward will be handed over to your ward by the Class Teacher. Kindly inform the School of your joining date. This is mandatory because Staff need to be informed to expect your child on a particular day and they in turn need to make preparations accordingly.
Teachers will assist your child with the syllabi which has been covered in the class till date.


Old Students for class XI will be charged Rs. 600 as admission fee.
Cycle Stand Fees Rs. 500/- (Cycle) will have to be paid annually at the time of admission. If the fee is not paid or the token is lost, school will not be responsible for the theft cases.
To avail the bus facility additional, prescribed fee will be charged separately on monthly basis depending on the route.
Bus fee is to be paid for the twelve months. With drawl will not be possible in the mid session.
Fee for Excursions, trips, Competitive & other exam will be realized separately. Fee for the Central Board of Secondary Education will be charged separately.
Annual Fees will have to be charged at the time of admission.
Fees will be deposited from 5th to 30 th of every month in Canara Bank at Kamla Nagar, Branch.
Fees depositing timings will be from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.
The fee will be charged for the first Month of the installment. Late payment will be charged after the expiry of the due date.
Kindly bring fee booklet while depositing the fee.

The fee for the whole session will be deposited in six Installments.
  1. In April (April+Annual Dues)
  2. In May (May+June)
  3. In July (July+August)
  4. In September (Sep. + Oct.)
  5. In Nov. (Nov.+Dec.)
  6. In Jan. (Jan. +Feb.+March)

Fees once paid is not refundable.

School Uniform

School Uniform encourages simplicity, cleanliness, brotherhood, discipline, mannerism, feeling of equality and a sense of awareness among them.
Every fine-expulsion can be imposed,


Students must bring home work diary every day.
Cell phone or other electronic gadgets are not allowed.
Name, class, section and medium must invariably be written on the bag, books, copies and other belongings.
Students must be regular and punctual in attending the school and complete their assignment daily.
Every student is required to have an identity card containing his particulars.
No student will be permitted to go home early, before the home time unless there is a medical emergency.
Students returning to school after suffering from infectious diseases must produce medical certificate from a registered qualified doctor.
Students must attend the school daily with text books and note books according to- the timetable.
Students must put on neat and clean prescribed dress , properly ironed and polished shoes and look smart. Nails must be regularly clipped.
Boys must have crew-cut hair.
They must use dust-bins and keep the class rooms and premises tidy and clean.
They must not write on the walls and spoil the furniture by scratching or carving.
Students must not loiter recklessly and are prohibited to visit the staff-room without permission.
Guardians or relatives are strictly prohibited to interview the teachers or their wards within the school premises or in the class without the permission of the Principal.

As per the CBSE Rules no student shall be eligible to take the Board Examination unless he has completed 75% of attendance counted from the opening of class IX / X / XI / XII upto the first of the month preceding the month in which that Examination commence in the subject of "Internal Assessment", Guardians and Parents of the student of Class X/XII are to note this rule for their compliance.

CBSE has restored X board from the Academic Session 2017-All students of X will appear for board examination henceforth.
Promotions are granted on the basis of satisfactory performance during the whole session as per the school policy.
Late arrivals, absence without leave, negligence in doing class and home-work, paying no attention to studies in the class are seriously viewed as these are tantamount to misconduct anddereliction of duty.
Strict action will be taken against the habitual defaulters. Late- comers or absentees will not be allowed to enter the class without the permission of the Principal.
Morning Assembly is an integral part of the school day when all pray to God and listen to the important announcements. Every student must attend the Assembly all time.
Class work and home work is given every day. Guardians are requested to ensure that the work is completed in time. They must sign the home-work diary each day invariably.



Students must not indulge in any act, which is subversive to law and order.
They must be polite, soft spoken, friendly and cooperative among themselves and maintain decorum in and outside the school.
They must strictly observe silence, avoid act of rowdism and maintain high discipline in their manners, conduct and behaviour.
No student will be allowed to come to school on scooter & motor bike.
Defaulters will be strictly dealt with.
Students found involved in any mis-conduct, would be liable to punishment and deterrent action may be taken against them, leading to their expulsion and rustication.

Transfer Certificate

Any parent intends to take Transfer certificate in the middle of academic year, should submit a written application advance of months feel in lieu there of:

Any parents intends to withdraw his/her ward at the end of the academic year, should submit a written application in the month of March/April only for collecting the TC immediately after the annual results are declared.

In all cases, NO DUES Certificate should be submitted along with the application for issue of Transfer Certificate.

The school on valid reasons issues bonafide/study certificate to any student on submission of written application from parents.
